So, if I buy both the KH 2.8 and the freshly announced KH Final Mix with 1.5 and 2.5 and more, IN WHAT ORDER SHOULD I PLAY THESE GAMES?? Doesnt both packages contain several games? PLEASE HELP!

I know nothing about the series, but I'd just play them in the order they originally released.
In the order they came out:
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories (should be skipped in my opinion by just watching cutscenes on youtube)
Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (Cinematics)
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix
Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (Cinematics)
Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance
Kingdom Hearts X Unchained
Kingdom Hearts 0.2

Thanks so much for the help :) I will now buy the 2.8 when the final mix version comes out, so hyped! Wasnt originally planning on buying 2.8 because I wouldnt be able to follow the story all the way through, but now? Boy am I excited!

You should play in the order they released, not in the chronolical one so:
Kingdom Hearts 1
Kingdom Hearts Chains of Memories
Kingdom Hearts 2
Kingdom Hearts Days
Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep
Kingdom Hearts Coded
Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance
then in either order:

Yep.Those two packages easily has 300+ hours of game.

In both PS4 releases yeah though 2.8 (bolded) is coming out first but should be played last.
