So this is it, max storage on the Switch is 64Gb + 128GB MicroSD.

Well.... goodbye third party then. :/

That is good. But it needs a big hard drive as well cause today developers are too lazy to finish their games and test them: they ship it, we see the game is broken and them they pach it with 5 GB updates

Thats 3rd party... most of which probably wont launch many games on the Switch.

Nintendo doesnt usually launch broken games, that require huge patch's to fix things.

True, but us gamers like the crappy games third parties serve us, so Nintendo better please those lazy developers giving them space to dump their sorry excuses of post-lauch patches.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Will the base hold more space? Like, you can have up to 128gb on an SD on the tablet, and another 128gb (or even an regular hard drive) connected to the base?

Supposedly not.

And it doesnt support USB external Hard drives either.

But think about it like this instead:

1) You buy physical cartridges, that dont need to install anything into your storage space, except maybe a save file.

2) Cartridges can probably be 64 GB. Look at a game like Xenoblade Chronicles X.... that was 22GB.

So now developers must finish their games before release? Well there goes the majority of third party support...

And probably stay under 64 GB.... and must have their game able to run off of a cartridge (instead of installing to a HDD).

Yes its going to limit 3rd party support.

Well its a good thing I expect WiiU like support. Cant really be disappointed with that in mind

No problem if the games stay as small as on Wii U.

Im one of those that doesnt really like Digital bought games much (for consoles).

So Im fine with being forced to stay physical.

And Ive had a Wii U since day1 more or less... so yeah used to it.

Can always just play the 3rd party on the PS4.

I agree. Sure it would be great to get some good third party support, but Nintendo games are enough for me to buy their consoles. I think the handheld aspect of the Switch might attract some developers though. It could make some people buy the game twice. On the PS4 or XB1 for playing at home and online and on the Switch for playing it on the go.

However Nintendo needs to ditch the 3DS soon. They just cant support two systems AND mobile phones.

If NIntendo provides 3rd parties with some good compression-tools i don't think it will be a problem. It just seems to me that Sony and MS have been saying "compression, fuck it" on their systems
