Final Fantasy 15 PS4 Pro support: Don't expect anything radical

In a nutshell, Final Fantasy 15 PS4 Pro gamers shouldn’t really expect much in the way of substantial enhancements over the base version of the game. Ultimately, it came down to the fact the developer didn’t have enough time to optimise the hardware, but didn’t rule out an improved version down the line.

About the PS4 PRO, it’s basically the same thing about the PC – if we wanted to take full advantage of the new hardware that would mean putting in much effort and time to make the game look and run better…and time is something we don’t have right now neither we had foreseen the PS4 Pro existence before. In the future, with some dedication and time maybe we can get a PS4 Pro version of the game that can take advantage of the systems capabilities. But as of right now the game has maxed out the PS4 horsepower,” Tabata-san told Hobbyconsolas.

Well... naturally, don't think there's much left to say

Expected.

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

The off-screen footage we saw of the pro version is good enough for me.

http://www.siliconera.com/2016/09/16/early-impressions-final-fantasy-xv-playstation-4-pro/

"During their brief time with Final Fantasy XV on PlayStation 4 Pro,.... Game Watch says some of the impressions for it were “now this is pretty…” and how some felt that there was something missing from the graphics of the game that we’ve seen up until now, but “this is the one they’ve been waiting for.”

"Those who attended highly praised the high resolution, splendid texture, and smooth and stable framerate of Final Fantasy XV on PlayStation 4 Pro. Additionally, they said that the texture of the trees and plants on the field were really impressive, making it look like a completely different game from the original."

Game Watch says about FFXV ps4pro : its a massive differnce, feels like a differnt game.

Then I read this threads headline and Im like.... what? that seems contradictory to what we ve heard before now.

No suprise, that we can expect big differences, the game is almost made, and the SE wouldn't invest that much time to max out the possibility of the pro

Wasn't there like an article a few weeks back by someone else saying "it was like playing a different game"?

EDIT: I see someone posted it above.

Hmm, pie.

From what I can tell of that vid, it was a great improvement.  And not to say that it couldn't be better, this only implies what more or better future games can look going forward.  That's the take away I get from ths.

I've read that those that saw FFXV on the Pro setting first hand said that it looked amazing so it can't be that bad.

Sounds like Square-Enix being humble, they know more could be done if they had time. I'm sure the difference in overall perfomance will still be significant and people need to remember these are "first-gen" Pro games. Next year when developers gets used to Pro the gap is going to increase.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.
