It's because of having to wait a long time for things like this,  that pc vr will never be my ultimate experience.

Wow i never knew Outlast Evil 7 was such a must have game for you. Lucky for me i was never going to buy it in the first year or at full price anyways so by the time i do get it ill still be able to play it looking better then it ever could on PS4 or PS4pro.

In the main time i can play alien isolation and the real Outlast and the 100+ other outlast clones on PC in vr using the PSVR in the main time to tide me over.

Next year ill get the Vive 2.0 and Resi 7 and the wealth of other AAA Vr games that will be on PC by then to have my ultimate experience .

It doesn't sound appealing to me to wait a full year and ontop of that spend a lot more on vr.  Earlier in the thread you mentioned you fell for the 3d hype last gen.  Don't you thibk it's a bit risky investing so much money into vr this gen?

Regardless I'll be playing this awesome vr experience day 1 and when it comes to vr that's what I want.  It's the same with things like FFXV on the Pro.  If you're a fan you want it day one.  Not waiting ages for a port.

Yup, he turns eveything into a PC thread. I dont even bother anymore.

Really so a person calling something "The ultimate device" isnt looking for such a reaction?.

Sigh..... a person coming into a PSVr thread and calling the PSVr "his ultimate device" is really his business.

That you will come into a thread like this and talk PC PC PC PC PC this or that as much as you have done is in all honesty trolling. you wanna talk about how much better PC Vr is and all the content you have for it compared to PSVr then by all means make a thread for it and all those that care about that will go into that thread and discuss it.

As it stands, you have been and are still derailing this thread like you somehow seem to find reason to do for every single PS related thread so far. Judt look at all the posts you have made in the last two pages alone. not a single one is actually related to what this thread is really about.

why the pc master race are so touchy these days
anyway i cant wait to buy psvr the best vr experience

I just love how you have been demisive of everyone in here so far.

Yep, PC have had AAA games, but curiously it was tough dead for so many years with ludicrous sales right?

No pc games have been selling great for years. Just look at sales of doom, quake, half life, Skyrim etc.

Yep, we are all sure of that.

Doom, so great that it got 12 years vacuum.

Quake, last release in 2005

Half Life 3 never being released

All lot of good examples of how profitable the PC market have been for publishers.

I love options. Like, if Nintendo were to make a game for Scorpio or Pro... keeps their cartoon look, at 4k60fps with HDR and very good textures on their art direction. It would probably be feasible and gorgeous... or God of War 1440p30fps with checkerboard would be incredible as well.

Indeed, cell shading will look great in 4K, HD remake on Windwaker is still one of the prettiest games.

Actually, looking at my recent gaming preferences I've come to the conclusion that music has a much bigger factor on my enjoyment than visuals. I've picked up where I left off in Life is strange for the last couple of days. Pretty basic looking game with excellent choice in music. Before that I played through Virginia (if you can call it playing) even more basic yet perfectly edited on the music. Meanwhile I completed the way on pc, 8 bit retro cinematic platformer, the music makes the game. NMS, same thing again, soundtrack kept me going through the grind. (turned the sound effects down to 20% not to interfere)

It also explains why I got bored with TW3 and Uncharted 4 before the end. Great looking games, great gameplay, yet the music was forgettable. A great soundtrack will keep me going, not better looking pixels. I would get more excited for games recorded in 96khz audio than 4k visuals. Sound effects that propegate and reflect naturally through the environment instead of the standard filters we've had for decades. Ofcourse you can't show all that in screenshots. (Nor VR which is why I guess pro is only used to show off 4K in the media)

Yep, music is part of human soul and very important to most people.

That is a good point on PS, you get a lot of variety on the type of games you get.

Except im not waiting a full year. i never got a resident evil day 1 since resi 4. And resi 7 is not the game i wanted its an outlast clone to me. Something PC has 100's of and in vr too.

No like i said to you i fell for "Sony's" 3D hype. If all i had was a PS3 and i got my 3dtv based on Sonys promises of all future Sony games being in 3D and how its the future etc id of been left with a useless TV. However thanks to my PC i was able to play pretty much all my PC games in 3D on my tv.

So i know when i do get a PSVR ill get plenty of use out of it on my PC. However i cant say the same for you since Sonys VR promises sounds a lot like their 3D promises so yes id be careful if i was you.

Yes if your a fan your not going to want to wait ages for ports however that works both ways. im sure the is ps4 players who dont want to be waiting ages for ports of xcom 2 or didnt want to wait so long for diablo 3 etc. Im sure PS4 players hated waiting for Rise of the Tomb raider etc too. However if your a fan you will want them games day one not waiting ages for a port.

The problem here is the mainstream want games like the psvr will get and at that low a price.  I'm part of that mainstream.  That's the ultimate product for me.  Lots of AA,  AAA and some indie content.  A reasonable price point and a nice product.  No high risk cost entry either.  Well it's high risk just not super high which is what I'd need to spend and many others to buy the Vive and build a gaming pc. My powerful pc is for work only now.

So there was no actual info about what it pertains to?

Am i going to have to buy both the Pro and PSVR?

Anyway i had enough of this boring convo thats going no where, Im off to play fallout 4 in VR on "My" ultimate machine right now using my cheap VR goggles till i get my hands on PSVR to use on my pc and make that baby really sing.

So you already have a HTC Vive? When did you get it? What are your favorite VR games so far?

We dont know what the mainstream wants. They might all turn their heads and laugh at the idea of paying 400 for a device to stick on their heads. They might be very happy with their google cardboards. This isnt about the mainstream it was about me and you and my reply to you was based around that.

Your new reply is doing nothing more then changing goal posts and trying to switch your post once again.

So my conversation was so interesting it kept you from playing fallout 4 on your Vive.  That's quite the compliment!

The mass market may not embrace the mass market but what you know for sure is they haven't embraced vr on pc.  It's not succeeded with the mainstream yet.  I have more hope for psvr and if NX does it then the NX vr too.

Yes they are all good example as each of them games went on to sell million and the is many others.

But for you to try discredit them games i said just shows how one sides your view is and why its pointless talking to you so good luck now sir.

So sucessful (and handfull, well couldn't even fill one hand) that they got hiatus of over 10 years. You have been discrediting everyone in this thread so far, so for you to have the nerve to act holy and high is great to see.

Where did i say i have a HTC vive?

You said you have the ultimate VR, and before you said Vive is the ultimate VR... so where did Conina took that idea from?

Well, you said that you're off to play Fallout 4 in VR and you were talking mostly about the Vive when it comes to PC VR.

So which PC VR headset do you have?

Or which will you get? And when will you get it?
