Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Mario Maker 3DS does not support 3D

The only way to play Mario maker is Wii U.

So it doesn't have the most attractive feature the game offers(online level sharing), nor does it support the consoles main gimmick. This almost seems as pointless as New Super Mario Bros. 2.

"You should be banned. Youre clearly flaming the president and even his brother who you know nothing about. Dont be such a partisan hack"

Even now Nintendo knows 3D was useless with few exceptions like Albw or 3DLand.

Anyway, this is just another filler. Just like Pikmin, Mario Sports and Yoshi. Ever Oasis is the only true game for 2017. But there are still some this year: DQVII, Yokai 2 and SMTIV localization, Pokemon and Super Mario Run, alongside Nes Mini.

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Its called 3DS. No 3D in a 1st party game. Nintendo has become such a disappointment. :(

Gaming comunity must be all dissapointed cause a 2d retro game lacks 3d.

cheapest money grabbing game made by Nintendo....
obviously I will buy 2 copies still

If you have 2x 3ds's to put both copies in, then hold them up in front of you and cross your eyes til you hit that parallax barrier 3d sweet spot, it'll feel like your playing the game in 3d! ....

You may also need 4 arms for this!

But yeah on topic I mean it's very ambitious porting games from the Wii-U library onto the 3ds hardware, Sony didn't have a ton of success doing it with big titles from the PS3>Vita and there wasn't nearly the same gap in power there as there is between WiiU and 3DS systems. I'm sure it will still sell a ton as a new Mario game for the 3ds over the holiday period, and if it hasn't cost Nintendo a lot to port over this title from the Wii-U and it makes them a nice chunk of cash, then hurrah for them.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

That stinks. I love the way that the 3DS does 3D.
