Choose your battle system.

Turn based 38 60.32%

Action Rpg style 4 6.35%

Xenoblade/X style 18 28.57%

Other 3 4.76%

Total:63

Would you prefer the original to remain in tact, would you prefer it to be more arpg like Tales Of, or would you prefer an arts pallet and cool down menu like Xenoblade/X?

Never played Xenosaga, sooo.. my standard JRPG strategy, I guess. Grind 10 or more levels more than the bclosest boss, and then charge at it. Works almost every time.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I think we've all used that strategy, but this is more about battle systems.

Turn based, no doubt about it. Xenoblade's battle system is the only reason why I don't enjoy those games.

I actually chose turn based too, though it doesn't have to do with Xenoblades system (which I'm fond of), but more to do with sorely missing being able to contol a party. I wish I could just play as everyone.

That's the main reason I've for choosing turn based too, that or an Arpg like Star Ocean where you have full control of a character but can swap them in mid-battle are fine for me. Auto-attacks are not something I'm fond of.

That's where we differ. If they're going to do arpg style like Star Ocean, I'd prefer they just do Xenoblade's system.

As long as there is a Xenoblade choise it will be my choice, if they are to keep the original I would like little changes, but blade is my fav

I find turn base rpgs boring. Give me the action. I know I'm in the minority here. hehe

I was definitely struggling to choose between turn based and this. I like a lot of the visual flare Xenoblade's combat offered. Also the strategy of primary or secondary arts, soul voices, appendage lock on, and overdrive made Xeno X a definite contender when trying to pick. Though as others have said, would definitely like to freely switch between characters (I mean the dpad is just sitting there). Hopefully in the next Blade they will implement that.
