I cannot believe that all along Eren's father ran away to where the rest of the humans are. Can't wait to see how Attack On Titan will unfold. Getting very interesting.

What a twist! Come to think of it, all Zeke's references to baseball in the previous chapters were really weird. WTF does this mean? The walls are not a metaphorical prison, but a literal one? Or some kind of quarantine facility?

I haven't kept up with AoT, so I'm a bit confused. So there was like another place filled with people living lives without Titans or is that before an apocalypse sort of deal?

So as someone who doesn't read any of the Attack on Titan manga and has only watched the show on Netflix (Which is amazing and i'm looking forward to season 2), does this mean there are humans that live outside of the walls somewhere else in the world? If so how is that possible then, do the titans not interfere with their lives or is it another wall-like situation. I don't really care about spoilers so i'm fine with knowing even if I only watch the show, just a few months ago I got bored and looked up what some of the titan human identities are as well just because I was curious.

Let me explain what happened in a small paragraph.

After craploads of fighting, death, and more fighting, Eren and a few others finally reach his dad's basement(recall him telling eren he'll know the truth eventually?). it looks like a normal room at first, but in it you realize something is fishy. they see a 'painting' with unbelievable detail(aka picture). They open a cabinet as well and realize that it has information behind it all. From the titan's origins to everything else.

So now there are two questions. How MUCH more advanced is technology in the outside world (is it a recent photograph, or have they advanced even further in the outside) and while we now know that the walls were erected while there was still human civilsation out there, is that civilisation still there?

I get the feeling when we finally do learn what this has all been about, we'll all look at the Beast Titan and his company and wonder"...so why the fuck didn't you just tell Eren and co that, and all this fighting could have been avoided?!". Like they're insisting on staying tight-lipped not for any logical reason, but for the sake of artificial mystery.

I figured the rest of the world had more to it than just a wasteland of titans roaming, but be interested to see exact details and reasoning.
