Please don't get confused by our mass media who hates Duterte because they are aligned with the former administration. That foul mouthed person has done more in 2 months than the 6 years of the previous administration when the it comes to fighting drugs.

I live in a neighborhood full of drug addicts and pushers. They use to run around freely, not anymore.

EJK has been happening in this country for a long time but now its like a new deal and everything is an EJK and puts the blame on the current administration thanks to our mass media.

So hate him for his lack of diplomatic skills, he wasn't elected for that anyways.

Good point. We cant always trust the media

I don't think made up things deserve any rights.

People however do deserve rights...

As far as I'm concerned the Philippines is a democracy so that's covered when the right to vote is absolute power ...

Foreign powers should not dare defy the sovereignty of a nation that makes it's citizens prosperous since that's how wars are started to begin with ...

A nation without any ownership of property is not a nation since it's ethnic groups can never truly gain independence without their own separate land much like how Peurto Rico doesn't have ownership of it's territory when it's under the tyranny of colonialism from the US and are not granted any electoral votes either which means that they have no voting rights in presidential elections!

Hawaiians are stucks in the same place also. There is blood quantum but, in reality, in roughly 4 to 5 generations, United States will have successfully killed off all of Hawaiians.

OT: As far as I see it, Filipino politicians lack all kind of skills, especially in diplomacy.

Is that the same guy who told citizens that it's ok to kill anyone who looks like they might be using drugs?

It's a good thing Snoop Dogg doesn't live there.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

You must be respectful you son of a whore. Obviously a very self aware dude.

Duterte told a press conference that Obama “must be respectful”.

What can I say... The irony is strong in this one?

Obama must've laughed when he saw that one. XD

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Don't know if it was straight up aimed at Obama, but dude has brought about a lot of concerns with the policies he has brought about. While there may be some good to come out of it, the amount of lives visibly lost or destroyed innocent or guilty of drug dealing/using is why so many other nations are asking him to pump the breaks on rhetoric.

The boasting badass talk doesn't really work on the world stage where you have to bend but not break, unless you are a maverick nation or a near superpower.

He said, "Son of a bitch". Even me being a Filipino that has grown up in the US since the age of 4, can understand that with my limited Tagalog skills.

The thing is, in the Philippines, criminals don't learn. They always get caught again and keep taking up resources in order to enforce them. The country can not spend so much money in fighting crime.

My cousin is of high ranking in the police department in Manila. He tells me stories of crime in the country. How students would get killed for money and criminals getting released after short periods of being detained. They simply don't have room in prison for everyone. They end up having to release some of them. The ones that keep coming back, they end up killing.

Maybe Obama should bring some business there to help the country with poverty. Where there is poverty, there is crime. Help the country, not blast them with how they should run it.

This is actually true, we have almost 700,000 users and pushers who surrendered in the 2 months since this administration began and we don't have enough space on our overcrowded prisons and not enough rehab centers to help them.

So the police is giving them free Zumba lessons in open basketball courts or areas across the country as a temporary measure and hope they don't go back to pushing or doing drugs. :(

This precisely sums up the issues with western democracies. They don't understand what's going on and how bad things are but they like to have a say and make out as if they know better. When they force their way and things turn out worse ( say hello to Iraq & Libya), they point their fingers elsewhere instead of taking responsibility.

India has been oppressing Sikhs in punjab for decades and is guilty of genocide, but it's been overlooked consistently due to India being an ally. Over 20,000 Sikhs were massacred in 1982 alone.

Rohingar again is having similar issues with genocide being committed, but not a word has been said.

There is no consistency, there are no principles, there is no good will. It's all politics and power play. We choose who we wish to criminalise and who we wish to put on a pedestal. However, sometimes those who we put on a pedestal are little to no different to those who we criminalise.
