Obviously is not as iconic as the OG theme, but is still just as good if not better. I would say that the original is more catchy but this one is more emotive and atmospheric. Dr. Robotniks theme also is another hard choice.

That Dreamcast remake is a fine example of why is important to to be merciful and kind towards poor ol' Melody.

The main thing is if you actually consider just how little power the megadrive has set aside for it's sound processing it makes the original theme even more amazing.
