No. I don't need it. I just modded my AV Fami with HDMI. I got the same video output. And real hardware. It's weird they would make this. Because haven't a lot of people always complained they don't want more consoles hooked up to their TV?

You better believe it.

I probably will. Unless they completely screw up the emulation.

The what?

Its cartridge lip doesn't open, for one, and it will only play the 30 retro games it comes with as Nintendo doesn't plan on releasing any more. You won't be able to access more games via the internet or external storage device, either.

The emulation of the software that is pre-installed. You know, like the Blaze Sega Genesis/Mega Drive plug and play consoles that were released about 10 years ago. The games ran worse than on the native console and the sound was bodged due to poor emulation.

I'm hoping that this runs the software 100% accurately. So as if it was being played on an actual NES.

Most likely.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Not right away, but maybe I will later on. It has a lot of games I haven't played and I would like to, like Final Fantasy. I only played a bit on an emulator and really enjoyed it. I'd love to play it to the end some day. It'd be great to try some of the other games on there too, and it would be better than buying a lot of them separately on VC.

It's really great. It doesn't hold your hand and the battles are unforgiving but damn it's fun. I'd only rank a few NES games ahead of it.

I knooow~ From the small amount I played I had sooo much fun! There was just something so refreshing about the 1st FF. I felt so free in it. I made a team based on my friends and just went where ever I wanted... and got crushed by wizards guarding a chest. I was so pissed I raged quit. I do appreciate the game let me play however I wanted and that issue was kinda my fault, and not the game's

Could be good for a secondary TV like many people have in their bedrooms are spare rooms.  Plus, it doesn't take up too much space.  I understand the dislike on it not being able to get more games through a SD slot or hook up to internet to download them.
