Will be completely different news if Scorpio indeed has the edge in power.
With that said, there isn't a generational difference graphically, one could argue there is a larger difference between the Playstation 4 and PC than there is between the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

You don't even need the word opinion on the title.
Microsoft's titles are still using pre-rendered cut scenes, Sony moved into real time in-engine graphics already.
That was the first sign of next gen I saw with these new consoles when The Order 1886 was announced.
They both look great, question is which ones run at the better 60fps?
Well xbox doesn't have any exclusives anymore so I guess you can say they are a generation ahead lol seeing as MS stopped making exclusives after the 360

Guess so, people might mistake it for fact. I wonder if I can call people fanboys and not get banned if I say it's just an opinion and not fact |
I need to work on my wording as well. When calling people fat, I need to add opinion. Even if it's true. 😐

There are Pro's and Con's to using pre-rendered cutcenes vs real-time.
Traditionally pre-rendered cutscenes allows for higher quality, depending on production budgets of course, Halo 2 Anniversary and Halo Wars where the cutscenes were made by Blur Studio's are a testament to that fact, they are simply amazing, visually. - It also allows the game to load in the background.
The downside to that approach is the size it takes up on disc, which means less room for other stuff like Audio, textures and other assets.
And because there is a stark difference between the Cutscenes and In-game visuals, it can be a little disconcerting swapping between the two, which can break down the immersion.
However, Pre-rendered and in-engine cutscenes has ZERO to do with a console generation, the Nintendo 64 for instance typically used in-engine cutscenes because of how much less space they would use, whilst the Playstation 1 went for pre-rendered because of how visually impressive they could be, plus space wasn't a premium on CD Rom.
In the end it all comes down to the developer, there is zero technical reason why the Xbox One cannot do In-engine cutscenes like the Playstation 4, not to mention that Scorpio is likely to be faster than the Playstation 4 and will still probably maintain status quo of using Blur Studio's to do highly praised cutscenes in say, Halo 6.

This. It's like these threads are being made so people can reassure and comfort themselves but then try and escape any criticism or being told their wrong by saying "oh but it's just my opinion".
