That GPGPU, that 32MB EDRAM, those DX11 extensions, that secret sauce.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

I have say this a lot of times. I played the demo. The first one is the one that goes slow at times because it is a creation, not the real game. The second demo is the one that counts, because its the original game starting from the story mode. And that works perfect.

That's interesting.  And quite possible if the custom demo was constructed quickly.  We'llsee in the months to come.  We all know Zelda will be at every single event Nintendo shows up at.

yes, thats exactly what the nintendo rep told me. The first demo was the only "demo", constructed only for E3. The other one was not  a demo at all, it was the game but limited to a playtime of 20 minutes.

Yeah, like he said... it's impressive for Wii U hardware, but that performance is not looking amazing. Thankfully I'll be getting the NX version, which should presumably be at least locked 30fps. If they can reduce pop-in and aliasing on NX and lock it at 30fps, I'll already be very satisfied... everything else (visually) is a bonus.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

The final big WiiU game and a fitting send off, really shows what the hardware is capable of.

Looking good. A few hiccups don't bother me. The only thing that bugs me is the muddy textures only several feet in front of link. Other than that not too shabby. Good thing it didn't get the star fox treatment.

Game will be great. I hope all of the best Wii U games come to NX, unless Nintendo does something outrageous, it's going to be my next console. CD Projekt RED seem to love it, so I guess I can look forward to it

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Is expected but still looks great overall

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

This is unfortunate. Hopefully they will optimize it better before release.

There's still 9 months left until release, that's plenty of time for optimization and polishing.
With a game this massive and complex, I suspect the final game will still have some dips when physics/alpha effects/open areas coincide, but most games tend to run smoother on release than they do in demos 9 months out.

I just hope they don't throw in the towel and decide it's easier to make it NX only than to get the Wii U version running smoothly.
