You really think so? It seems enough for all Nintendo fans to buy their games and consoles. They have a lot bigger communication problems with everyone else.

I'd say if Nintendo fans were all on board you'd get Gamecube level sales.  Personally I stated years ago would buy a Wii U with Zelda (likely a Zelda themed one) and due to delays and general sense the system was dying it marks the first Nintendo system ever I have yet to buy and may never buy depending on NX.

Don't forget about Star Fox Zero.

I personally reeally like the controls for that game, but I can definitely understand why people hate them so much.

Miyamoto pretty much just wanted to try and innovate for the sake of innovating, and it's pretty much the reason why we got an unintuitive control scheme as a result, as well as the reason we still don't have a new F-Zero.

I liked Devils third but dislike star fox. If that tells you how poor I feel the quality is. But some like it, as long as you can enjoy a game then others opinions matter little.

I think they forget the Western audience is most of their business.

They have big misses, yes but they do deliver with some games, and that is what matters

I won't be buying all Nintendo games, but the ones I do get, I enjoy playing them a lot

I do agree with you.Nintendo does need to get their shit together with games that are not as popular as Zelda and Mario for example.I dont mind spin-offs kind you, but when they go and do federation force when they KNOW it will be badly received because f lack of a main entry is dumb. And insisting on mechanics that fans already expressed their hate like in Sticker Star is also not smart.

But I dont agree with some things you said. For example, the Last Guardian has been 10 years comming. It just so happens that now its releasing, but Sony "ignored" its fans for 10 years. And Shenmue 3 is not being made and was not "kickstarted" by Sony.Yu, the director, was the one that got this off the ground, and Sony just saw a marketing chance to put it on their conference.Samn with FF 7 R, as it was an Square inicitative.Having said that, Sony is being wayyy more receptive to fan demands than any of the 3.

It's been a rough year for Nintendo, while they are still putting out some stellar titles now and then there seems to be a clear problem with Nintendo, Acting on Fan Feedback. Everything that is said seems to fall on deaf ears. Unlike other companies that are more involved with their fanbase then ever Nintendo seems to be doing their own thing, just telling what they're going to do and not paying any attention to what is said in return. For example.

Animal Crossing Amiibo Party!!!! Errr.... No I think everyone wanted a real Animal Crossing game on WiiU.

Paper Mario Sticker Star/Color Splash!!! Errr... Everyone wants a game in the vein of the original or Thousand Year Door.

Mario Party... Everyone hated the Car in 9, so what did Nintendo do for Mario Party 10? Kept the car of course. Not to mention the new 3ds game which has some awful movement gimmick also and Island Tour which is already out where every board is basically a straight line.

Metroid - You wanted a Metroid Prime game?!? You're getting Federation Force ENJOY!

F-zero - You asked for a new F-zero? No you're not getting one on the WiiU because reasons.

I think it is more that Nintendo has a problem predicting what their fans want. You can't just throw away an entire game that is almost finished because the fans have said they want something else. The time and hours spent need to be made up with sales.

Man I have been gone for awhile do to personal reasons and come back to this?

First off when does a video game company that specifically states on its website about the WiiU that it's a family fun console need to submit to the fanbase of 18-24 year old demo or the older gen who won't grow up and look at things logically?

Here some harsh truth for you Nintendo wants to be a family base company and their is room for it. If you can't get off your gaming high horse and start realizing that as you become adults your tastes change doesn't mean you force a Family company to grow up with you. You play Xbox and PlayStation while my demographic should be buying and playing Nintendo consoles with their children and since we have jobs buy another console or PC to have some adult fun.

Nintendo wants to be a family based company get over it

We know they are able to hear us though, otherwise Federation Force woulda been at E3. We just gotta make sure we speak with our wallets and not buy the garbage they spit out.

Being a family based company means making trash games?

At least Aonuma said that BotW was made in large part with negative fan feedback of Skyward Sword in mind.
