Forums - Gaming Discussion - Sony E3 won. Hands down.

It was probably the least interesting E3 conference I've seen from anyone in recent history. Bethesda's, Ubisoft's and even EAs were masterpieces compared to this one, and they were lame. Not one single game I want to play after seeing it. Almost nothing new announced, just mostly updates on stuff we already knew. I'm honestly baffled at how people are just jumping and cheering for it. It honestly is hard to believe that opinions on something can be so polar opposite. I've been waiting years for them to give me a reason to get a PS4 since it launched, but it just hasn't happened yet. Maybe next year, possibly.

Gotta go with Microsoft as the winner so far.

In terms of overall presentation, Sony won handily.

In terms of appealing games, I think Microsoft had the majority.

I agree, but largely because everyone else was absolutely terrible. Far too much focus on VR and cutscenes, and when the gameplay was shown, it was usually incredibly disappointing (God of War and whatever the heck that Biker Zombie game was). The only game that remotely interested me was Horizon: Zero Dawn, which looked quite promising despite my initial hesitations.

Certainly presented a lot of games, but that's all for not if hardly any of them look good.

They did say Crash 1,2 and 3 is being remade from the groundup to PS4. They had nothing to show but they 100% confirmed it.

We'll see that in 2020 then :P

We don't know how much they have made yet of the remakes and Ratchet and Clank took only 1 year to be remade. Id say we gona see Crash in 2018.

Every company should take lessons from Sony on how to make a conference.

No PR talk, no developer "feels" story of why they made their games, no BS altogether. Just games after games after games. That is how every conference should be from now on.

Sony won hands down, its not always about new Hardware but about new games and especially exclusives afterall. Thats why they also won over MS imo, tough i still would have loved some Neo footage of current games.

But many games like FF15 running on VR is an obvious indicator that the Neo has to happen. I cant see FF15 runing with PSVR on a normal PS4.

They won, but not by much. The press conference was too short, shorter than Microsoft's.

Length is more important than quantity and quality of content? Microsoft dragued. Sony showed more in less time, because they didn't fill their conference with useless and boring talk.

Great conference 7/10 for me.

Some great games, but a lot of cgi teasers with no official release dates (this always bothers me). Sony VR will likely be the weakest of the 3 (Oculus, Vive, Sony VR), so I will be waiting to see who MS supports.

Waiting on more NX, NEO, and Scorpio info/price/specs before I make a final decision on my upcoming purchase.

IMO MS had a better conference. Looking forward to what Nintendo brings. Sony owners/supporters should be pleased.

I think I can agree with this. MS had more fluff, but I liked the hardware and the games they showed better. Plus most of the games are coming out this year compared to Sony's.

Sony's pacing was better, but I felt the last thing was weird. Like they introduced that game earlier and then went back to it in the end. Should have started with Crash and ended with GoD of War.
