Now this sounds like an interesting VR simulation game I can sink my time into. Four players in virtual reality filling the roles of starfleet officers on the bridge of a federation starship. But you know people are going to fight over who gets to be captain, right?

Well I will say that this game actually has me interested in VR for the first time.

If the VR immersion is good, this could be a lot of fun for a group of friends.

Sounds awesome, like Pulsar or similar, and in VR should be great. Kinda hope there's a single player mode, those games do very much rely on multiple players, I just want to take my ship out and explore without having to deal with pesky humans.

I can see them adding more ships if it's popular enough, I can see the reason classic ships aren't included/mentioned is because they want to sell them down the line.

It is Ubisoft publishing it, so this is pretty much confirmed.

Single player mode confirmed. You will play as captain and hot swap to other roles in complex situations.
