Yeah, those casuals will gladly pay 500$ for an Add-On to a console/PC. Not to mention the price of the console or a proper PC in the first place. Right...?

Price is way to high, and if you thought Wii had a lot of shovelware that didn't properly take advantage of the system and its controls, watch out for VR.

This. No casual is going to see the 400-500€ price tag of those devices plus the rest of the needed hardware and say "this looks like a good investment". With the Wii, you bought a system (significantly cheaper than the competition), you plugged it to the TV, and you were ready to play Wii Sports, there is a big difference.

I'd advise you against pre-ordering anything but whatever. Let us know how things go once you get it.
