Yeah I love the trackpad as well. Whenever a windows laptop user sees me use it, they're like:'How can you use that?! thats horrible! Why wouldn't you use a mouse?'
The thing is, I prefer the mac trackpad to basically any mouse. It works great. (Hell, I've played through Bastion with it and had zero trouble.)

But I'd agrue where Macs really shine more is optimization and stability. My macbook pro is turning five soon and in the entire time I've had it I have not had a single hard crash and it only froze up on me twice.
God, the amount of blue screens i used to get to see with Windows when I still used to build my own rigs! My Macbooc pro on the other hand just...works. It just works. That's what makes Apples products so great. They just work. (Apple is very much like a console manufacturer in that regard.) Also I personally prefer the OS, but that's down to taste really.

I have to say, the cables are shit though. In my expierience they just self-destruct after about two years.

There's _plenty_ of room for debate, I'm just not interested in getting into it.  Though, as I said, Windows has nothing to do with Track Pads.  In fact, since Mac's can actually run Windows, I'm not entirely sure  how this thread even makes sense.  One could say that Mac makes better track pads than their competitors, but, in the realm of hardware, Microsoft is not their competitor (Phones aside, naturally).  Samsung, Dell, HP, etc.... would be.

But on topic... eh, wouldn't be hard to beat. I always use a mouse with my laptop these days, even if I have to use my leg as the mouse mat, simply because the trackpad is just... rubbish.
