Is famitsu more reliable? Then why are those hardware yearly comparison threads doesn't use it? Is it because of the weeks system?

They're both reliable. They don't track just the same stores and that's why they get different results. Same for Dengeki.

Vgchartz averages the 2 trackers so maybe Vgchartz Japan hardware numbers are the most reliable.

Famitsu is not superior at all for retail. Digital is fine though.
