The truth is that all the other members of the site don't exist. Or more accurately, they are all my alt accounts. All of them, but you.

Many years ago I created this website as a place of solace, for myself. Back then, every other site was mean to me. So I thought of creating this place as the perfect world. Where everyone is as I envision they should be. I pretended to be every other member because I wanted the forums to be full of life. With time I got really good at it and was able to instill everyone with distinct personalities. I happily lost myself in the fantasy.

And then, one day, you unexpectedly joined the site.

Initially, that threw me off, and I didn't knew what to do. I thought of banning you or even closing the site. But... I liked you. So I kept pretending. I had to double my efforts, because you were smart. I even had to hire actors, just in case you tried to contact any member through Skype or other means. I kept the lie going and I'm glad I did, because we had a lot of fun together. I thank you for that.

I hope that, now that you know the truth, you don't abandon me. But even if you do, you can always come back. So, I will keep the fantasy running for you, and me. You'll see, I'm very good at this. Even in the comments on this thread my alts may question me, what I just wrote. But don't get fooled. It's only you and me. I thought you should know.
