That's not what it says:

"I haven't received a message from the mods, but in the meanwhile: to clear one thing up, some genuine leakers have said ARM, some have said x86, the NX is using both but one for the home console and one for the upcoming handheld. In essence, the ARM architecture is a small piece of the overall NX home console and specifically done to port handheld games to the Home console, not the other way around. Devs are not forced to create games for it."

Basically NX handheld has an ARM processor while the NX home console have an x86 processor for its own games but also an ARM one to play the handheld games.

Then it's worth the addition as it gives the console a unified library.

Is it?

Why spending more money and making the console more expensive with the adition of that ARM processor if the x86 processor could emulate it with no extra cost?

The next portable will probably be between PS3 and Wii U level of performance at that level of perfomance and power emulation may even require a much higher level of specs than even the PS4 which would bumped the price up even more.

I think you're overly optimistic about the power of the new handheld.

I think you're overly pessamistic, power and perfomance ranging somewhere between PS3 and Wii U isn't even that much of a stretch it would be what you expect from a successor of Vita for one, it's very doable.

Going by the NEX rumour it says developers can simply ignore the ARM processor in the console I wonder if the're any benefits to utilizing it and whether it can work in a game along side the x86 in some way.

Luckily, it seems that the number of "leaks" has slowed down a bit these last days... maybe it's cause the weekend?

hopefully lol.  maybe people have realised that "leaking" before the launch date is a marathon, not a sprint.
