Devastating race for Lewis. I could literally feel his heartbreak on the radio there. Really hope this race isn't the one that ends up deciding the championship, but at this point it sure seems like a lost cause.

Yeah, let's hope reliability doesn't decide the championship or take away from a good fight. I can't imagine Lewis actually thinks anything untoward is going on, he's understandably frustrated and it is odd that it's him getting all the issues, but we've seen it before where one driver/car seems to get the bulk of the issues.

To be fair, Rosberg usually has also had mechanical problems (he was even penalized for getting help from the team over the radio) and he's the one with worse luck in the pit-stops, so it's not like Hamilton has all the problems.

For Japan's race, I'll go with the same prediction I made in Malaysia

1-Hamilton
2-Rosberg
3-Verstappen

DNF: Ocon

Well, I got the right riders, but not in the right order .

I always forget about F1 races when they're not in Europe. Anyway, here's my prediction for Austin:

1-Hamilton
2-Ricciardo
3-Rosberg
DNF: Magnussen

Last race of the season. Who's gonna win the championship?

I think it's going to be Rosberg, and that he'll be smart enough to not fight for the victory in this last race, but aim to simply climb to the podium.

1-Hamilton
2-Rosberg
3-Vettel
DNF: Ericsson

Abu Dhabi is a pretty uneventful track. Not a whole lot that can happen here, so barring that Nico's car actually fails for once, it's highly unlikely that Lewis has any chance at the championship. The other cars are simply too slow to get between the Mercs.

Shame really. When a championship comes down to the last race you'd really hope for more drama once you get there, rather than a tired procession in which the championship leader (who frankly hasn't earned said lead) can just pace along merrily without a care in the world. If we're lucky somebody will play bumper cars with him at the start and send him to the middle or back end of the field so he has to race to get back on the podium and claim his title. I'd give him his props for that.

Congrats to Nico Rosberg.

Congrats to Rosberg, he's been the less bad of the two Merc drivers.

And goodbye and good luck to Massa and Button.
