Still using my 2011 Laptop for most of my PC gaming, that I got for $900.

CPU: Core i7-2630QM 2.0-2.9

GPU: 1.5GB GTX 460M

RAM: 8GB DDR3

HDD: 680 GB

Windows 7

I didn't read any reviews when I got this laptop, but apparently it was pretty good for its time. Link for some looks on it.

Speaking of which I feel my computer may be soon on its last legs.

Anyone got suggestions for the $900 price range? Just looking at prebuilt atm, but I may look at custom in the future.

Currently running the following

Intel Core I7 3930k
Asus Rampage IV Socket 2011
16 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum ram 2133 MHz
Samsung 840 pro 250 GB SDD
2 tb HDD
Amd r9 fury X Crossfire
3x27" Asus 1440p Monitors in eyefinity

However im going to be building a new system here in June or so once Intel releases Broadwell E and AMD releases their polaris Architecture high end GPUs. Ive havent upgraded (apart from GPUs) my pc in almost 4 years so im all ready to go no holds barred on this build. In addition to a sweet tri fire amd gpu i will be making the leap to 4k. Currently I have a 4k TV but 70" is way too large to use as a monitor.

I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!
