Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Final Fantasy Explorers in the UK must of really exceeded expectations - Out of Stock everywhere

Australia pretty much sold out within 2 days. JB HiFi (a big retailer of games) removed the listing from their website.

SE definitely didnt expect such a high demand. I guess they thought it would sell like any other niche Japanese game and therefore only ship a very small number of copies.

In saying that I have no doubt they will print more copies soon.

Interestingly for me, I just picked up the last copy at gamestop, and I couldn't find it at best buy. Did they even stock it there...?

That's good to hear, didn't think this game would do very well

Doesn't necessarily mean great sales, it could just mean a ridiculously low shortage of copies.

At least it may have passed their expectations, even if it may have been low xD

I'm still really curious about the shipments of this as it came back in stock sometime last week and then after a few days it was out of stock everywhere again and is still currently out of stock on all the major online retailers Amazon have it shipping in 1-2 months.

They really must of under produced and under estimated the demand for this and if it will take so long to get stock back to retailers there would likely be a used market flood for copies of this loosing them a lot of sales.
