I think NX will be revealed, with its real name, in the February Direct. This will be the first Direct in the "new" format. That can't be a coincidence. I also think that's where My Nintendo will be properly explained as it is core to NX and will be launching the month after.

Exciting times.

I don't think NX will be revealed until May. 3DS+Wii U lineup is relatively stacked from Feb-April (Fire Emblem Fates, Twilight Princess HD, Hyrule Warriors Legends, Bravely Second, Star Fox Zero) with pretty much nothing after that point, I don't think that's a coincidence and I believe they will keep the focus on this final wave of 3DS/Wii U titles for the February Direct.

Nintendo Account/My Nintendo & Miitomo will probably be the big talk of this meeting.

There were still games coming out for PS3 when PS4 was announced and it was still selling well at that point. At this point, Nintendo should care much more about preparing for the NX launch than scrounging up the last million or so straggling Wii U/3DS sales. The software releasing is for the current Wii U audience. Announcing the NX this month won't effect software sales at all. Only hardware, which is already bad and getting worse.
