If it ends up being VR only, then I'm not touching it at all.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

With all due respect, i dont think Nintendo's R&D division is competent enough to bring a VR device to compete with the likes of Oculus and PSVR.

Ew, I wouldn't touch that.

I'll try first and decide later.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

I'd mourn Nintendo because if they bet everything on it they'd go out of business. VR is too expensive for the average consumer and the technology isn't fully there to get an experience satisfying enough that you'd go out of your way to utilize it for every game you play. The only people who are really hyped about it right now are vocal hobbyists with a lot of disposable income.

Also, Hololens. I'd rather Nintendo invest in something like that than in VR.

You need a large user base for the VR share be enough to support a gameing eco system for it.
Basically you cant have your console sell like the Wii U has, and have VR be a optional thing.
If its a addon type of deal, the need to make sure their console will sell well.

Also VR needs powerfull hardware.... Nintendo dont like selling units at a loss.
And they re set in their ways about low power and quiet systems.

I dont think Nintendo can pull off VR currently (the NX I mean).
Maybe whatever console nintendo designs AFTER the NX (if playstation 4, proves VR worth it).

what about... hololens? VR is supposedly too expensive and "not there yet" - which cant be farther from the truth - however the tech that has literally no gamez let alone proven game concepts except for an infomercial and cheesy presentations should offer more potential? also, there isnt even a consumer version in sight, let alone a affordable one.
