I don't know if this has only been an issue for me today, but as someone that basically lives exclusively on the front page of this site, I find the problem incredibly inconvenient since it has literally been happening all day now where it is now almost 11pm for me. Among all those boxes on the front page that may actually be somewhat useful, there is the questionable "Most Popular Games" box that I constantly ponder the relevance of whenever it catches my eye as I have little to no confidence that it actually refreshes with currently relevant titles.
Today, that box has constantly been timing out from whereever it attempts to pull from. What I see everytime the front page finally loads after struggling through that single box not loading correctly:
Not pretty.
My suggested solution is to just remove the box since it really serves no relevant purpose beyond cluttering the front page with uselessness, but if it has to be there, I guess it would be nice if it didn't hinder the rest of the page.
