One of the most divisive aspects of gaming is which is better... the original or the remake? Well VGC you and I are about to put the argument to bed and decide once and for all which is better. How are we going to do that you say? With DEMOCRACY!

Here's what we'll do, every week (Wednesday's I guess) I'll post a poll - asking which is better the original version of game XXXXX or the remake and at the end of the week, the winner will be immortilised forever as the no questions asked best version.

Feel free to post suggestions for future votes too (I'll run out of ideas sooner rather than later...).

Also - should be obvious but NO PORTS, only remakes will make it into this thread.

Yes I picked my favorite game ever to start... what of it.

Anyway my vote goes to the N64 version. Sure the 3DS version technically controls (except the Zora swimming) and looks better but it's like playing on baby mode without any of the challenge of the original.

Also the boss battles are TERRIBLE in the 3DS version.

Never played MM since it came out around the same time the ps2 and ffIX did in 2000.

But I would definitely pick the n64 version since I loved that console.

There's no question, the 3DS version is superior in every way.

I just started playing the 3DS version a few days ago (late I know), and having played the N64 version twice, I can say the remake is easily superior. Gameplay, controls, and presentation are all so much better this time around. Unless something changes for the worse later in the game...I'd definitely say the 3DS version wins for me.

3DS for sure.

So Majora's Mask 3D beat the N64 version in week 1. Week 2 now pits the PS classic Resident Evil versus the GameCube remake.

REmake is one of (if not THE) best remake ever. Even better than the original.
