- Pokken Tournament will have the "asymmetric gameplay" that will make use of the Gamepad screen as second screen while taking away split-screen view

- by allowing each player to his/her own screen it gives each the chance to visualize their character in a more favorable view. A fighting game like Naruto where players can go very far of each other ends up limiting the view of one character who is relegated to the background, making the fighting relatively tricky

- In the HORI products website the special arcade controller that will be made available for the game is mentioned that only one controller can be used at a time, implying that one port should be left for the Gamepad to be used as second screen for multi-player

- Pokken Tournament the 3D Pokemon fighter is slated for release March 18th (Japan) and Q2 (NA/EU)

I wonder if the game is capable of running with 2 Wii U Gamepads since they are now on sale in Japan, the Wii U is capable of using two, but I wonder if the gameplay would be affected...

After playing Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 yesterday, I can only approve of this idea.

When you are back there in the background it is very tricky avoiding shuriken and the sort.

Official stuff always beats speculation.

Will you be able to use classic controllers or Pro controllers?

Hype. Really cant wait for this game.

It will be interesting to see how this will go down in local tournaments and such. Hope there is online!! Bandai Namco should be familiar with online on Wii U after Sm4sh.
