Reggie already said that they have already publically announced that they're hard at work on their next home console. Doesn't matter what name they'll call it, you don't talk about your next home console unless it's going to come out sooner rather than later. Anything else is unnecesary marketing suicide for the current console. Everything points to an early NX release at this point: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=210492&page=4 |
But Ninty already did it to Wii too, that was comfortably pwning competitors, then Ninty announced Wii U very early and it managed to suddenly kill Wii sales.
I'm not sure low stock and selling well can necessarily be correlated. But I do hope Wii U has had a decent holiday. It's got a good lineup and is a nice complimentary console to the "big boys".
JRPGfan said: From my experiance.... its just low stock in stores to begin with. Even the 3ds doesnt get much space here, in denmark. |
Its probably because it sells less.

I notice the massive amount of short supply of games at these stores and Wii U Hardware was not to be found. Splatoon,Smash, Xenoblade, Mario Maker Sold out; Toad, Donkey Kong, Kirby, and Mario Tennis with only a few left. Mario Kart was the only one still had a healthy amount.
So with that said looks like Nintendo, at least in US, is starting to pick up momentum and I'm glad to see it. My fellow Nintendo supporters are you seeing the same thing in your area? |
There is no correlation here.
Especially as Nintendo had a much poorer month software wise in November of 2015 versus November of 2014. It was considerably down YOY.
So that says to me that there wasn't enough stock sent to brick and mortar retail.

Are you saying you made a post about future negative comments...?

That, if they can increase interest in the wiiu, the worst system they've ever made, then it can only go up from here. Even if it's just a little, it seems the wiiu didn't too that bad this Christmas. Of course, we'llhave to wait for official numbers. But, God forbid anyone say something in a positive light around you. Don't like what I'm saying here? Ignore it. I'm ok with that, somehow.

So false hope then. Yeah sorry, I'm not a fan of that being spread. The Wii U has never maintained the holiday boost, it wont suddenly do so now.
