I was thinking that maybe they could do some episodes with Dirge of Cerberus and stuff. Maybe just like well done pieces that let you taste the other content released within the FFVII story. :D

I guess they could make a game adaption of Advent Children since it would be a better way to experience the story for the fans, although I reckon it's gonna be fairly short and linear ...

They need to do a prequel that shows the people from the planet of Spira (FFX) colonizing the planet from FF7. It'd be like XCX XD and would bridge the gap between the games

So go beyond FFVII but in a different direction than that of Advent Children.

The thing is that Square seems to be in a quest to beef things up in FFVII so I suppose they could add content to what is a linear story of a movie. I mean, you can add story elements, boss battles and sidequests between the scenes that happen in Advent Children.

Hmm... Not really. Keep Advent Children just as the movie but go past it in the game. I mean, we're already getting ff7 remade. I want completely new content. What happens after Advent Children? After Dirge of Cerberus? Specifically, right after Dirge of Cerberus. I want a FF7-2, bascially.

Practically every plot point I know about in the FF VII universe is resolved with the ending of Dirge of Cerberus ... 

What happens after DoC is when Genesis goes on to watch over and protect the planet much like how Aerith did ...
