These games are only available from getting the SW bundle. Which is why Sony most likely confirmed the emulator exisistence. After PSX they will most likely add the section into the PS4 PSN depending on how far out the games are. Though I imagine the SW games will be put up for everyone sooner than later.

I see. Yeah, that makes sense. I figure the PS2 classics wil come back with more games.

Just make the PSOne and PS2 Classics available on PSN for the PS4 and I will be happy with it.

Of course, getting BC for PS2 games would be a cool feature.

alright, PS4 is keep getting better and better even without exclusive i believe PS4 will still far away a head from Xbox One, Now PS4 has far more exclusive and added with PS2 (if it's coming with PS1 or PSP) then PS2 level of sales might becoming possible (of course if they make the price cheaper from time to time)

looks pretty darn good.
I like that they up-res everything and used postproccessing to remove jaggies ect.

I really hope this ends up supporting more or less all the PS2 rpgs.

In case no one knew, there is a really good emulator for PS2 called: PCSX2 for PC.

Emulator used is rumored to use PCSX2, or at least some of it, for the PS4. Legally of course. Someone who worked on PCSX2 is now working for Sony, so yeah.

Honestly brilliant news :)

Good on sony for hireing some of those guys to help make the PS4 able to play PS2 games.

Yeah I agree.  That PS2 emulator is pretty sweet.  They have Shadow of Collosus and other games in 1080p@60fps.

Yes it can. Every PS3 models can play PS1 discs.
