Digital Foundry took a look at how Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, Star Wars: Racer Revenge and Star Wars: Bounty Hunter ran through emulation and they found the following results:

If I am not mistaken, Tachi works for Sony Japan, so I figure she has insight into the matter that she is not allowed to disclose due to NDAs.

That said, she also kept her mouth shut about The Last Guardian.

Nobody expects otherwise.

OT: I wonder if they allow disc-based emulation on the PS4 for PS2 or if you have to rebuy games you already own.

PS2 games can get a little rough when it comes to sprites and upscaling but that happens to all emulators that fiddle with systems that had to put 2d parts in 3d games.

Anyway, at least Sony made an emulator for PS4. Details will show how much it is worth in the long run.

Considering SEGA published that vague teaser trailer for Valkyria Azure Revolution, my guess is that in Japan today is the official "Tease The West 4 The lolz Day".

If it's disc-based, finally. I can retire my launch day PS2. If it's not, I have zero interest.
