As i've said before, a lot of those 360 fans jump ship from the PS2. Sony was the one who expanded upon the overall market of gaming in general. Sony's impact on the industry was so huge that it prompted Microsoft to join out of fear of domination. When Microsoft joined they severed Sony's dominant marketshare in half and took most of their most rabid gamers whom furnished great sales for the 360. Sony has them back and they aren't coming back anytime soon. Why do you think Uncharteds collection has been selling so well? They just returned to Sony and have missed out on quite a bit. Sony even put out a statement as to the amount of people in their marketshare whom have never played Uncharted. They can monitor these things with your gaming stats.

You're making alot of assumptions without any data to back anything up though. Sony said what they said, Microsoft said the opposite but neither of them showed us their numbers or how they get them. Everything I've read, including your post here, is rooted in plausibility with nothing factual behind it.

Dude...look at the numbers of the original Xbox, look at the numbers of the 360 and look at the growth of Sony's marketshare once they joined the industry. The numbers are there. I've actually posted it and people still  didnt know what to think. Sony increased the gaming industry to levels that threatend the PC market in the late 90's. Microsoft was prompted to join the industry and purely focused on cutting down their marketshare and succeeded with the 360 by wooing early adopters to the 360 because they realized multiplats sell consoles. Once they had all of the third party on board Microsoft replaced Sony  as the alternative once Sony revealed their price point.

So again here is  list:

Look at the market growth between the era the PS1 entered the market, and look how much it grew by the end of the PS2 era.  Sony loses nearly half of their marketshare during the PS2 and somehow Microsoft sells over 80 million from the gen earlier having 25 million? Nintendo didnt have those numbers (the gen earlier) and Nintendo increased the market in that same gen by penetrating a new audience that no one thought to penetrate (with the Wii).

The PS2 sold between 150-160 million consoles....and somehow both end their gens within the high 80 millions?

Things that make you go.....hmmmm.

...Let the Sony Domination continue with the PS4...

Well apparently having "the best xbox lineup" didn't work out after all. MS couldn't provide a cheaper xbox one, thus making it more easier for ps4 to win a holiday against xbox at last.

After the drought of exclusive titles the X1 had for most of 2015, it would appear I was right when I said releases throughout the year are more important than a loaded holiday. ;)

Hmmm. There should be some sort of compulsion on people who make predictions like these to front up. Because you know if Xb one had actually won BF this thread woulda got a bump from the OP.

But one must admit that while best line up in Xbox history didn't give it the BF win, it did give it a small YoY boost.

This poll just shows you how much hate the XBO gets on this site from Nintendo and Sony people.

XBO will dominate the PS4 on Black Friday just like it did last year. It set a record for most consoles sold on Black Friday.

well it didn't dominate.  The only reason xb1 won last year was because it was at 350(330 on BF) with 2 games.  At the same value, it wouldn't have won like this year has proven.
