Simple as the title says , do you think within the next 25 years , devs will hit a wall in regards to graphical capabilities, cause what we have is impressive and tech leaps and gains would be insane
I say yes

It might take longer than that... but we re going to start seeing deminishing returns, increase as time goes on.

yeah dimishing returns
i think we're already at dimishing returns stage
honestly with best market rig + a game designed to max it like that space sim , whatits name
but i think we'll get bigger and more complex worlds and ai
can you imagine it
just 25 ago was 1990 and we were dealing with sprites
wonder how games will look then
Not really, but I think in the next 10-15 years we'll see more focus on input and immersion that sheer visual fidelity. Graphics will keep on developing for sure, there's still a really long way to go in many aspects (depending on what the end goal is and if there indeed is an end goal).
Definitely. Games like driveclub are already getting close to that photo realistic look or the order 1886.
Console generations will not shorten for this reason and by the time the ps6 releases it's capabilities will be near the limit of now good will it get.
Real life visuals is the progress cap.
Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

^ this is actually a good point.
I can see future gens lasting longer and longer, because of deminishing returns on hardware.
Also we re getting closer and closer to the limits of how much we can shrink stuff... when we make the chips.
Console gens in the future will probably be longer than they are now.
Considering how good some games are already it might take a bit longer. But the leaps forward will get smaller until games reach photo-realistic point...
We are still a ways off and plenty of barriers would be left.
Able to model one photo realistic human? Now do a hundred on a screen at once. Now do it at 60fps with no loading in 4k. The goal posts will continue to move as we advance.
Yes. Diminishing returns... not to mention Moore's Law is ending, and there seems to be nothing better than 5nm silicon processors for decades to come, if something better than be feasibly done at all.
