I'm surprised there isn't a thread on this yet (if there is feel free to lock this). The Street Fighter V beta is currently live for Playstation 4 and PC. Anybody who pre-ordered the game has access to it. I played it for 15 minutes on my lunch break here and I'll sadly only be able to play more on Sunday so I can't really give my impressions right now but that doesn't mean I'm not interested in hearing yours!

So who here has the beta? On what platform? What do you think of the game?

i'm in the beta and just play a round with Ken, sadly my hori rap v3 sa doesn't work with the beta but i hope it does in the full game like it does in the SF IV ps4 version. i will play a bit more this weekend...

It's a shame my two favorite characters are not in the beta. I was looking forward to playing some Chun Li and Cammy but Rashid looks very interesting.

Is it much better than IV? I'm going to buy it if course but I'd like to know how it stacks up.

It plays more old school. More focus on fundamentals. Almost no hardknockdowns, no invicinble back dashes, no crouch teching, no options selects, no "on no my DP was blocked let me FADC to make safe" nonsense.

Sounds great! I remember you kicking my ass (or maybe it was a tie) in SFIV so I know that you know what you're talking about. You have me excited!

The matchmaking has been spotty this beta it's been feast for famine. I wish there was a way to tell if you were playing against a PC player. Karin seems really strong in this game as does Mika. A few players have pulled off some cool stuff with Ken. I'm pleasantly surprised by the lack of Ken's I've run into. Nothing against him but I'm happy most players seem to be trying out the new characters. 

Hey to double post. Just wanted to update anyone that's interested. The match making has been great today. I've had several matches. I can't believe I'm going to say this but I'm really like Vega (Claw).

Cammy was in the previous phase. I played with her, cause Cammy best thighs.
