Its amazing how many important things was cut out. Do you think this kind of censorship normal?

It's normal in the way the US likes to handle russia, to be honest. I really wish the US and Russia would move past the silliness and become true allies.

I am reading the interview and right off the bat I cannot take anything he says seriously.  He talks about supporting only "Legitimate Governments" while he rigs election after election and props up his distabilzing puppets in the Ukraine.

"I would like to advise or recommend them to forward this suggestion not to al-Assad himself, but rather to the Syrian people. It is only up to the Syrian people living in Syria to determine who, how and based on what principles should rule their country, and any external advice of such kind would be absolutely inappropriate, harmful and against international law. "

Hahahaha! The Syrian people spoke and they wanted the Assad regime gone! Assad responded with barrel bombs and massacres. Yeah thanks Russia for keeping this dictator in power long enough that country has completely fallen apart and ISIS is now the defacto power in the region.

I think it's pretty normal, it's just a shame that it's become so routine.

Putin actually has a point when it comes to Syria. Assad's support in Syria is actually quite strong among his people, which western media tend to forget or simply try to hide. I have several Syrian friends here in Sweden who support Assad, saying; "Under Assads rule before the insurgent, Syria was a stable country, with economic growth, and several different religions could live side by side thank's to his tight grip on security".
It's true that he is a ruthless dictator, but what has come in his place (where he has lost control) is far worse.
This is a war the democratic movement in Syria simply can't win.
