Every other day I tend to go by WayFoward's twitter just to see some news, fanart, deals and what not. One thing I have noted though is that they are very into campaigning for Shantae (This isn't about Shantae. You should still vote for her though :P ).
In any case, I noticed on their Twitter, when campaigning, they had three seperate links to the Smash Ballot: one for Japan, US and the UK.
I began to wonder why the seperate sites for the Smash Ballot? Obviously the answer seems to be the languages. However then I remembered that not too long ago during the Japanese Ballot site. Sure it was probably the rule tweaking, but why only there?
Then it hit me: Nintendo might add 3 characters. One for Japan, Europe, and America. In fact I beleieve before they updated the site, there was more than one empty slot.
That's what I think is a possiblity, but then again it feels like a stretch.
