Im of the opinion that it isnt a real 3D game as well....

Something about those linar 2D sidescroll type maps, and the basically locked camra, and the time limit (kinda short) on each level.... just doesnt make it "feel" like a 3D world type game.  You need free camra movement, and you need time to explore every area as much as you want.

Its like playing a 2.5D mario game, instead of a 3D one.

Why does 3D mario matter if DKC 3D doesnt matter?

Because people enjoy the 3D Mario games, and the 1 n64 DK game that was, kinda sucked.

Nintendo need to get mario back to the old days of Mario 64 but with higher graphics, and make Mario differnt from DKC.

Let DKC be the 2.5D mario game, and let mario stay forever more true 3D.

Guys... I really thing a major Animal Crossing is missing on the WiiU

Didn´t City Folk sell a lot on Wii? Wasn´t a success?
I do recognize that Animal Crossing makes more sucess on handhelds (I just can imagine how successfull an AC game could be on mobiles.....), but home console AC games also use to sell pretty well.

So Mario 3D world is not on 3D because you don´t have a free camera and the levels are lineal compared to M64....

So Galaxy is also a non 3D Mario. Bravo.

Too bad the Mario 3d world is the lowest selling mainline mario game with only 3.5 million.  Even Mario sunshine sold over 6 million.  And yes sales matter because companys do look at sales.. thats why New super mario bros gets sequels all the time.

What the 3D World complaints really boil down to is that the game is not Galaxy 3...

I still consider the Galaxy games as real 3D mario games.

Actual official Nintendo numbers from last quarter results are saying that Mario 3D World was on 4.3m on 30. June, roughly 43% Wii U owners bought game, thats great sales. Mario 3D World continues to sell great and probably will pass Mario Sunshine sale numbers even with smaller instal base.

No DK and Mario? That's news to me. While 3D World wasn't the Mario game everyone wanted, it was still a major Mario game. It just took a different approach. Tropical Freeze on the other hand was about as real as you can get with DK games. It was also the best DK game is the series.

Even if Galaxy games are completely different than Mario Sunshine and Mario 64!? Guess what Mario 3D World is also completely different than all those games but that doesn't make that game less 3D Mario game.

Exactly, I think some people saying that Mario 3D World isn't real 3D Mario because they expected Galaxy 3 instead.
