It obviously did as these are official figures and pretty old too, but idk how it sold that much there. Still that's a good thing though. |
Of course, it's just strange. I have never thought GOW was big in japan

It isn't. GOW III is the exception, not the rule.

Woah you took a while to reply xD I thought Ascension though overall a weak entry in the series had better combat than the others and a good multiplayer mode. I guess there wasn't much Santa Monica could do after how incredible and satisfying ending GOW III had. I think you could be right about its sales, I mean since every GOW game is undertracked here GOW: Ascension, Collection (Vita), Sagas and III Remastered are probably undertracked as well. We just don't know by how much, these figures are quite old and I know that GOW III on PS3 still sells well in many places and GOW: GOS continued to be one of the top selling PSP games both at retail in many places and on PSN. |
I'm a very busy man! lol
Yeah but Ascension could have been so much better, I could go on and on.
I think GoW3 will pass 7m lifetime on the PS3 alone, it must be 6.5m+ by now. Ascension could hit 4m lifetime with digital sales. I wonder how well GoW4 will do both critically and commercially, hopefully it's the most successful installment yet!
I dont know why you are saying they are seriously off. They seem to be close on all cases by at most 2-300k. That isnt bad at all.
