When it comes to AAA exclusives, I'm pretty sure the rather bleak lineup for the rest of 2015 is because of bad planning and unexpected delays, (R&C and Uncharted 4 were delayed til next year.) not an intentional move to have a stacked 2016 lineup, so the question "Is it worth it for Sony?" Is kind of a pointless question because Sony didn't do it intentionally.

I think in the case of Sony games, unexpected delays are to be expected. :|

Possibly. But you can't think that Sony didn't want to counter a Forza or Halo game.

As a Sony fan I think some of you are underestimating the power of Halo. That game sells consoles.

Currently own:

They move a LOT, but not that much. Halo 3 and Halo 4 saw about a 40-60% sales increase for that week. Halo 4 was weird, because it was immediately followed by Call of Duty.

The more people buy X1 now the fewer will buy it in the future.

Halos a MASSIVE SELLER

Forza not so much, won't sell that well

Mostly from two countries.

"3rd party bundles"

On the world stage thats going to be enough for the PS4 to outsell the Xbox One.

Honestly better to take the time to do things right, than rush them.

MS may win another month or 2 is the USA, but It doesn't have a chance in the rest of the world.
