Way too risky. Nintendo did that last-gen and they've already lost most of that demographic.

You need mainstream third party support to widen the demographic. Nintendo needs to support their consoles with games that suit their demographic and somehow get that third party support.

I'm not quite sure I understand. This game isn't made by Nintendo, and it is 3rd party support.

This game existing isn't preventing games of Nintendo's demographic from appearing on the console.

The game has seen a ton of polish since the first video, which makes me very hopeful for continued polish going into it. It's looking pretty good. Kinda seems to be the same concept as Warframe: free to play co-op action shooter game thing with objective based maps and all that. Could be a cool addition.

For Nintendo, making games for the mainstream is widening their demographic. Nintendo does not make mainstream games like that at all. There's literally nothing safer.
