Forums - Gaming Discussion - Anyone playing Life is Strange? (Finale Out Now!)

I played the first episode, and I like some aspects of it, but dislike the american high-school setting. Are the next episodes more focused on the main story (the girl dissapearance) or in the character popularity, which I didn't care about? XDD

I love it. It has really good characters and they nailed the atmosphere.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

I do. very good story-telling. Still haven't finished 4 but the start was just breathtaking.

Yes the plot advances a lot, although episode 5 is going to have to answer nearly everything since there's been a lot of buildup. Episode 4 makes the most headway in Rachel's disappearance.

Also I like the high school setting. That plus the supernatural elements, the mystery, apocalypse scenario, even a blue butterfly among other things reminds me of the Persona games. Just with no combat. Not a bad game to tide you over a bit till Persona 5 :P

I don't know why, I like a lot more the Japanese high-school setting than the American XDDDD. But that's personal taste. I also love persona games, 4 is one of my favourites JRPGs ever.

But, yeah, what I liked about Life is Strange were the supernatural elements, the mistery around that girl and meddling with time is a cool gameplay mechanic. And I'm definitely interested in how the relationship with you childhood friend will evolve in these chapters. The only grip is that high-school setting, but I will definitely play it because I found the main story interesting.

Yes I've played two episodes and bought the pass for the rest. Looks very good on XB1 too. I love the atmosphere, story and characters. Should play rest of released episodes soon but I want to make sure I can focus on the story and play episode in one go. Don't want any distractions when experiencing a story like this.

Let's just say i am highly anticipating the finale

Oh I must add, it kind a reminds me of tv-show Twin Peaks. You have this intriguing mystery you don't even want to be resolved too soon or at all, because it ties all these interesting characters with their own stories and events together. I heard there might be another season coming so I hope they don't mess it up twin peaks style..

Hella yes!

sure, it's SE version of until dawn without the horror. got 3 save files with 3 different choice paths through game. i'm pretty sure one of them has to be the optional one that gets you the best possible ending.

I am. I actually bought it for 360 by accident. I watched my daughter play and now I'm playing it on Xbox One.
