Looking at MS gamescom conference. Nothing pique my interest. It looks to me that their guns were already shown @ E3 and the reason why their GC suffered was because XB1 is looking like a machine that would cater to a demographics being stolen by PS4 and not the other way around or both. It's a halo machine good for xbox fans but they lacked that one crucial factor, variety. I mean, if it's all they have then clearly, Square Enix will probably steal the Gamescom show of the year. Sad but true. A japanese gaming software company will be what we're going to talk about this gamescom week in a show catering to europeans.

If Sony and Nintendo aren't going to gamescom. You better win Gamescom convincingly and with that, I doubt they even did.

Well the problem is Microsoft did not do anything spectacular on E3 either, except for the announcement of some backward compatibility on some title.

Obviously they are desperate.

From what I read (I didn't watch) the show was meh... everything already showed at E3 plus cross-platform Halo Wars 2 (for me a good game but it is a small spin off from Halo franchise... won't sell consoles).

I know, because the answer to thread is so obviously "Yes".

They can't fire shots if they don't have ammos. And they don't have enough studios or enough third party support to supply these ammos.

So yeah, they seem empty handed now, they don't have enough games to compete in the announcement game. 3 more conferences to go for Sony this year, and they've already shown at least as many games as MS...
