Didn't Mr. Wheelchair say that he has to figure out who he is?

Hopefully he realizes he's a quarterback by season's start or I'm going to be picking first next year.

Today I attended a fantasy draft where Desean Jackson went in the first round.

I feel sad.

I actually really like watching preseason football, it gives you a chance to make predictions at who new is making the team, and who may not be. Plus it's pretty fun to see guys out there that you will definitely not see during the regular season (such as second string QBs, gotta know if your back-up can cut it).

Also, I think Tebow was brought into Philadelphia for a reason, and he is going to make the 53 man roster. Barkley is getting cut.

In other good news for the 2012 draft, Trent Richardson as failed to make the 75 man roster. For the
raiders.

The best QB of the league might get sacked for good by his own team soon:

Fingers crossed that Cousins throws a lot of interceptions. Gotta keep that QB drama in Washington going.

Washington is so dumb, yes RGIII is injured a lot, but he is the superior QB. Cousins has been named starter like 5 times at this point, and each time he has gone on 1 hot streak and then been a complete fail. If they figure out a good offensive line combination to keep RGIII off the ground so he can be healthy, they may have a shot at going at least .500. Keep going with Cousins though, they are asking for losses.

Apparently RGIII had to learn how to slide. You call that a good QB?

And what was dumb of Washington was to take the fifth year option on the contract of a player who was in a messy state for quite some time already. If I read it right, they took that option this year. What were they thinking?!

"Herp derp" is my guess.

He may not have know how to slide, but if you think back to his rookie year, he was far and away the best QB on that team, it's awkward cause he and Cousins have been there for the same period of time. Originally, Cousins got the job because RGIII got injured, not because he was better. Since then, Griffin has been injured a few times, yes, but the team has not really given him a chance, either. Look at his passing stats, he's been throwing 65% plus, but the team loses with him at the helm because they can't play, and the blame goes on him. He needs to work on securing the ball for sure, but he is definitely the better of the two QBs and will get his job back at some point this season. Whether he loses it again or not is another thing, but the kid is definitely a player. Like I said, Washington is just dumb.

Washington is basically the NYJ of the NFC, and RGIII is their Mark Sanchez. Minus a butt fumble, of course, but it seems they will never fully trust him again. Definitely better for him and the team to just move on. Cutting him wouldn't be the worst idea in play. I really do think he could be a great QB, but he needs the team to be willing to play for him, and I don't think they are.

Good to see that we are done with this topic. Now let's move on to the next one.

You said that Tebow will make the team of the Eagles, but I don't think so. It still looks like he can't comprehend more than a few basic plays of a playbook while Barkley has the ability to get the ball to receivers. Nevermind Barkley's advantage of being with the Eagles for quite some time now, so he is more familiar with the playbook and teammates. Tebow also brings the circus to town and Chip Kelly isn't the kind of guy who likes media attention.

On a sidenote, I am done with setting up the framework for this year's prediction league, so the spreadsheet is ready to go.

I say that Tebow will make the team because he is not a typical QB, Barkley is, and not a good one at that. Tebow is not a great QB either, but I keep in mind that he has been out of the league for basically two years as well. I do think that he has untapped potential, and will only get better the longer he gets to stick with a team. He needs to be quicker with his reads, but for working with third stringers, he really hasn't looked all that bad. I'm sticking with it, Barkley cut for lack of growth, Tebow stays for potential, and versatility.
