Atlus and VanillaWare announced Odin Sphere: Leifdrasir for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita. It’s due out in Japan on January 14, 2016 for 7,980 yen. First-print copies include an art book. 

The game appears to be a high-definition remake of the original Odin Sphere, which launched for PlayStation 2 in 2007.

IMO it's a bad game. Didn't like it at all on PS2, the worst vanillaware game.

Wow, that's harsh. I like it a lot. I find it a little tiresome having to level all characters from the ground up everytime I reach their story but the game, battle system and story are very good.

If this is coming to HD, then I will stop playing it and wait for the version with trophies bwahahahaha

If its 1080p60fps on PS4 then maybe, otherwise just stick to the superior Muramasa and Dragons Crown.

The battle system was good, too simple so it was repetitive at first but still good. Story, graphics, soundtrack, all of this was good.

But dammit, you have to farm for 40 hours the same stages, the same boss, with different characters but it's still incredibly boring.

Yeah, leveling up takes patience. I got to come up with a tactic of multiplying bottles and using the plants that yield experience to level up faster though, but still it takes time to level all characters. I think my biggest gripe was losing inventory space though lol, after you get those bags with lots of space is hard to go back to just a couple of space slots.
