Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Fire Emblem Fates: Both "FULL GAMES" Each, DLC "Third Path" is a Full Game as Well!

I need to be strong and not support this practice, but impressions are so good and this looks like to be miles better than Awakening, an already masterpiece.

You can just buy one of the versions and ignore the others. If it is as they say, each version will be a full game. If you don't care about FE: F you can just ignore them and buy Shadow Dragon from Wii U VC (which will be released soon).

I am a Nintendo fanatic.

In both the original Game Boy version and the Wii version :P

Wait, so they sold them seperately..?

Yeah. Originally, Gyakuten Saiban 1 was a four-case game, which subsequently released a second game which was a fifth case for this one. Think of it as physical DLC. Thing is, most of us played the DS version, which had incorporated the fifth case into the whole package (also explains why the fifth case doesn't have an image after you've beaten it unlike the other four).

When they later re-released the game for the Wii, for some reason, they thought it would be a great idea to force people to pay for the fifth case. They did the same with AA5, having a sixth case that you had to pay to unlock.

Huh, well that's the first time I heard about that, and now I feel kinda cheated for buying the AA5 dlc...

For the characters questions here is a summary (not sure how legit it is) :

There is a difference between Hoshido and Nohr characters IMO...

Not found? :( It works well with me...

Summary of the picture : a LOT of characters look like high school boys and girls going on a field trip. Nohr has a few real soldiers and original/weird characters.

28 characters on each side, plus 12 neutrals (plus the dragon/tamagochi thing).

For comparison, Awakening had between 40 and 50 characters, depending on how many children and Spot Pass characters you had (without the DLC characters jokes). Radiant Dawn had 72~ playable characters, so still a little bit more than the 3 "full games" combined.
