Forums - Nintendo Discussion - It's time - Reggie needs to quit, Now!

Pfffff people bitching because they didn't got their Metroid. There is a difference between being a spokeman and actually taking all the decisions for the company. If Nintendo would have delivered at this E3, you would not be seing those troll threads about Reggie. He is doing a fine job at defending what is hard to defend... I blame Wii fit.

I'm dissatisfied with how he's been handling business for the west overall. Things like special novelties that never make it across seas, but you know the fans want it. Then if a special novelty/limited edition item comes here, you only place it in New York instead of making just limited quantities in stores. That's just one example. I just wish he'd listen to his fans more. Let us tell you what we want and what's hot in today's market. Then you do your job and see what's plausible from the fans request and do the marketing or whatever.

I didn't mention metroid once...I dont even like metroid that much...this topic has nothing to do with the quality of the e3, rather the comments he made around it

I tend to agree on this one. Although I find Reggie pretty entertaining, he speaks too much ill of competitors. Iwata is at least more realistic than him when it comes to point out Nintendo's mistakes.

I hate how he always complains to Geoff that people are never satisfied. That's a good thing! You don't want people to say they've had enough of your games. If people want to buy your products you should do all you can to meet that demand. Don't complain that people want more!

His preachy attitude is especially unwarrented now that their console isn't selling so well. I hate the cocky style of the xbox execs too, but at least for what's-his-name, the current xbox head, I can't deny that he's doing a good job of turning around the disaster he was given. He even managed to incorporate both VR and AR with the product in some aspects, though not sure what will come of that, and he's been making bold moves.

Reggie just seems so anti consumer nowadays, or consumers have just become smarter and started to realise it. When Adam Orth, a mere xbox employee made anti consumer statements, he was rampaged out of Microsoft. Reggie is causing damage and staying there thus causing more damage
