A lot of people are complaining that the visuals are bad. I classify them as inconsistent. Some look a bit weak, others look quite good.

Exactly my thoughts. They just need to clean up some low res textures and add some more effects and interactiivty within the stages.
It looks "ok". That's far from good or great. But if the entire game looked like this, I would be satisfied, but unfortunately there are some parts that remind me of low-budget indie games.
Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
Having watched most of the video, I really do hope they polish up the game.
