Scalebound has been delayed to 2017.

Well, that sucks.

According to an Xbox Wire article by the Vice President of Marketing for Xbox, ReCore will launch on PC as well.

Guys, how is Recore coming to PC a bad news?!? Seriously!!!

Are games better when they are device exclusive? Would they score a 100% on Metacritics?!? Don't fall for that idiot trap. This exclusive or nothing is a cancer on these forums.

Scalebound, well sucks for those who expected to play the game this year, but a delay is better than a buggy/unfinished game.

^^^This, as for Scalebound it should be noted that Platinum is working on other games as well so this isn't really a big surprise.

Proud to be a Californian.

I woke up to so much bad news today. Scalebound delayed into 2017, ReCore officially delayed till later in 2016 and no longer exclusive (coming to PC as well). And then there's the rumor today that there will be no Assassin's Creed game this year (AC Japan was originally rumored for this year, my most wanted AC setting), and that when the series returns in 2017 it'll be set in Egypt, a setting I have no interest in, so basically I now have to wait until 2018-2019 for an AC game I want to play if the rumor is true.

Today sucks : ( Somebody find me some good news.

Windows 10 reached 200 million users! And every major AAA exclusive sold over 1 million (Forza 6, Halo 5, Gears of War, and Rise of the Tomb Raider).

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

What about the watch dogs 2 leak? There's a rumor that watch dogs 2 is coming out this year.

More stuff going to Windows 10 is fine and I wouldn't be surprised if as little as 10% of the Xbox fan base overlaps with the PC market so there is no losses only more sales to be made, Plus we all know what Microsoft is waiting for the right to to launch their Windows 10 Xbox app as a true rival to steam (Probably after the free upgrade to Windows 10 ends since people will make a last minute dash to upgrade since its free and they could hype it up at E3 for good timing) and the install base has increased enough and bringing there own IP's over is a big way to get an edge and make people use it.

When the Windows 10 Xbox platform has been completely launched and the next Xbox arrives in 2018 ( my predicted next console launch) this will tie in with the next Xbox basically been a closed OS PC and will feature full cross buy/cross play as well as all consoles been fully BC from now on. Since a majority of what Xbox is lacking (the Japanese third party games) are now all getting released on PC this would give the next Xbox console such a huge and diverse library of games and wouldn't require the porting to the console as its on the exact same architecture as the PC anyway.

That's my views/predictions on what Microsoft is aiming to do with the future of Xbox and Windows 10 and I actually see Microsoft is a very positive position moving forward over the next few years, They have the stage set for the long term.

Scalebound push into 2017 may also be to fill any gaps in release schedule. Just as long as they don't delay Gears 4 I'm happy.

Meh, is expected. Honestly believing in Phil Spencer will only make you hurt.

And that's the reason for the delays. The MCC, Revelations 2, Fallout 4, all buggy to hell and back thanks to rushed release dates. Sony was smart to delay them for a more solid game and it helped, so MS doing the same is fine by me...

And I am happy for PC players who can feast on ReCore. Not my kind of drill, but appreciated nonetheless. At this rate, I expect full fledged PC-XONE cross compatibility. What will the naysayers say when MS reminds all of the XONE's "PC in all but name" modus operandi?
