Holy cow the new Game Pass additions have been announced:

•Prey (April 11th)
•The Golf Club 2 (April 11th)
•Monster Hunter: World (April 18th)
•The Walking Dead: A New Frontier (April 18th)
•Life is Strange 2 "Episode Two: Rules" (April 24th)
•Resident Evil 5 (April 25th)

Wow I was hoping that I would get to play RE5 for free via game pass or games for gold even thought I already have it on my 360. Now I can get the extra achievements and the download content that goes with it :)

Fable is 100% going to be a Next Gen game, it would make no sense for MS to announce it this year instead of next when the new Xbox’s are going to be officially announced/revealed.

Also we won’t get any footage so if they decide to do it the it would be like the Starfield/Elder Scrolls 6 announcement (both game that will also be next gen games I imagine.)

Which brings us back to the question of whether next-gen titles will be playable on the Xbox One, or at least the Xbox One X.

I am not going to spit the dummy over it, but I can't deny it would be disappointing to purchase such an expensive game system (XOX) and then be told it wont play new MS studios games just a couple of years later.

It’s possible that the current gen consoles get supported for at least two years before the Devs move on (I was still surprised to see how many current gen games were available on the 360) The Xbox X might get longer support depending on what MS is planning the X could possibly run next gen games at 1080p 30/60fps at medium graphics settings.

The digital Xbox being an S version is dead in the water, It should have been the X imo, they need to phase out the S and drop the price of the X.

I was a bit surprised, but I think at this point their goal is to get the cheapest possible version of the Xbox One on the market to try and clean up on software for the next 2 years as they transition into the high cost period of the next generation.

In theory the benefits include bringing more people in to the Xbox ecosystem, at a time when they're likely to be announcing some exclusive games in the near future.

Okay, original Xbox One and S are terribly underpowered, and are already holding games back right now. Is should be phased out quickly after the launch of Scarlet. There's no question about it, next gen games arent gonna be chained down by outdated 2012 tech. For good reason too.

The X... I don't know. On one hand, the gpu, bandwidth, ram, etc etc are a huge upgrade over the og and would serve as a perfectly fine baseline for next gen games. That cpu though, is a sore spot. Yes, it's overclocked to run 30% faster, but it's still awfully bad, and a polished turd. But in the end, I agree that X1X should play next gen games, cause overall it's a pretty hefty upgrade.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Pretty much How I see it. Could we see MS take a big hit and get it out there for something crazy like $99? Knowing full well people will likely buy Gold and Gamepass with it and offset the hardware loss instantly. Even if they don't the profit margins on digital will soon make back the hardware loss instead of people buying a standard S along with 20 used games for <$5 each which could essentially make MS nothing.

Looks like Asobo might be out of the running for Acquisition, they just announced a new project with Focus Home entertainment.

Can basically rule out all their partnerships now: Dontnod, Saber Interactive, Deck 13, Asobo. I would have liked Asobo since Plague is looking great, there was also a rumour about a French studio at one point but that's been so long ago now. I just want to know what they're buying, Lol.

I’m very excited for these studios getting new projects funded. Honesty I feel like I might get let down by the studios they announce at E3. We might not get one of the magnitude of Ninja or Obsidian.

According to Jez/Rand Podcast...

- Ninja Theory's Bleeding Edge is a MP title and always has been since before Microsoft purchased them.

Man I’m disappointed, hopefully the game is good because if it’s not then we are going to get non stop comments about how MS is ruining Ninja Theory and forced them to make an MP focused game despite the fact that this project wasn’t started under MS.

Also I believe that there might actually be prototype footage of the game concept that Ninja Theory released a while back, it could have been revived as bleeding edge.

Here it is, this the MP focused prototype that Ninja Theory made a while back, notice that they are fighting with swords so that could be a connection to the Bleeding Edge title.

Bleeding Edge as multiplayer is kind of disappointing. Bleeding Edge will likely be the last current gen game announced, which means the final current gen singleplayer games are likely all announced already, Gears 5, Ori 2, and Battletoads. Halo Infinite is looking cross-gen. I'm sure Perfect Dark will be cross-gen or possibly even next-gen only if it releases in 2020.

Hopefully it’s MP focused and not MP only, if it’s like Absolver but without all the problems that it had it might be worth it to me. I wonder if the graphics will be AAA like Hellblade.
